Francis P. Brown, JD, MIM,
LLM
Mr. Brown joined
Davis & Associates, P.C. in 2005 after over 10 years in Corporate
America. His last position prior to joining the firm was Director of
Financial Operations for a Fortune 100 company. Mr. Brown is
licensed to practice law before the Colorado Supreme Court and was
admitted to the Colorado Bar in May 1994. Mr. Brown
concentrates his practice in the areas of wealth preservation,
estate planning/elder law, business succession planning, employee
benefit planning, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Brown is an
accomplished teacher and speaker. He has taught a sixteen-hour
continuing education course on estate planning to over 2,000
Colorado CPAs, Certified Financial Planners, and insurance
professionals.
Richard E.
Cascarino, MBA, CIA, CISM, CFE
Richard had 26 years
experience in Internal Audit consulting and training worldwide.
Richard chaired the Audit Committee of Johannesburg and was a member
of the Audit Committee of the Department of Public Enterprises in
South Africa. He is a visiting Lecturer at the University of the
Witwatersrand, author of the books "Internal Auditing - an
Integrated Approach", "Auditor's Guide to Information Systems
Auditing" and a contributor to "Governance" to "Finance: the
Ultimate Resource".

Rick L. Crosser, PhD, CPA

Rick Crosser, Professor
and Chair of the Department of Accounting at
Metropolitan State College of Denver. Prior to arriving at Metro
State in 1995, he was Director of Graduate Programs at Weber State
University in Utah. Rick received bachelors and masters degrees from
Colorado State University and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.
He received the Certificate in Business Ethics from University of
New Mexico. He is a licensed CPA in Colorado and a member of the
AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs, Financial Executives International,
American Accounting Association, Society for Business Ethics, and
Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. He has received the
Outstanding Teaching Award for the School of Business and the Award
as the Outstanding Business Faculty for
Professional

Dee Dukehart
As an executive business
communications consultant and trainer Dee Dukehart combines her
marketing and professional speaking background with her writing
expertise to train and enhance employees’ written documents and
spoken words, and to coach executives in organizing, creating and
delivering impressive, memorable and powerful presentations.
She’s been a professional speaker,
communication’s trainer and presentation skills coach for over 10
years. Dee’s an active member of the National Speakers Association
and the Colorado Chapter – a board member in 1998-2000, 2006; a

Stephen A. Gierach, PhD, CISM, CISA, PMP, MCSE, CCNA
Stephen is an accomplished Senior
Operations/Compliance Manager, Risk Manager, and Management
Consultant with extensive experience in all aspects of Information
Technology (IT). With over 20 years of program/project management
and IT management consulting experience, including 18 years of IT
operational and compliance audit experience and 12 years of
business-wide disaster recovery planning, he has also developed
comprehensive consulting service to help organizations dramatically
improve securing their Intellectual Property, involving risk
management, legal, IT, and Internal Audit. In addition he developed
and implemented a consulting service to support implementation of
the Model Audit Rule by insurance companies (public and private)
through compliance readiness auditing, testing, documentation and
remediation.
Janine A. Guillen, JD,
MBA, LLM, RN
Ms.
Guillen joined Davis & Associates, P.C. after over 15 years in
healthcare operations and administration. Prior to joining the firm,
she worked for HealthONE in Risk Management & Quality/Regulatory
Affairs. Ms. Guillen concentrates her practice in the areas of
estate and business planning, wealth preservation, asset protection,
probate/estate settlement, elder law, and planning with women. She
is licensed to practice law in Colorado before the Colorado Supreme
Court and maintains a Colorado nursing license.
Ms. Guillen has
taught continuing education courses on planning to many Colorado
CPAs, Certified Financial Planners, insurance professionals, and
attorneys. She has presented at national conferences, lectured to
students and families in higher education venues, and has taught on
a variety of topics in the corporate environment. Most recently, Ms.
Guillen spoke at the national

J. William Harden,
Ph.D., CPA, ChFC
Bill is an Associate
Professor in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC
Greensboro where he teaches tax courses on flow-through entities,
individual and corporate tax, tax research, IRS practices and
international tax. Prior to teaching, Bill was a Senior Tax
Accountant with an international CPA firm as well as a tax
accountant for an international oilfield services company. He is
currently in sole practice, focusing on taxation and financial
consulting for small businesses and individuals.
In addition to his
university teaching, Bill consults on tax and financial planning
issues. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Oversight
Sub-Committee on internet taxation issues. He was the recipient of a
Lybrand Certificate of Merit in 2002.
Mr. Harden is
currently a member of the American Accounting Association, the
American Taxation Association, the National Tax Association, the
AICPA, and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. With the American
Taxation Association he has served on the Program Committee, the
Legal Research Committee, Flow-through Entities Policy Committee as
well as the International Tax Policy Committee. He is a past board
member of the Piedmont Chapter of the NCACPA. Bill has authored over

Dennis Johnson, CPA, CISA, CIA
Dennis Johnson's
experience prior to Nordstrom fsb includes IRS revenue agent,
software quality assurance manager, and accounting manager for an
insurance fund. Dennis holds the CPA, CISA, and CIA designations. He
has been a resident of Colorado for over 30 years and enjoys skiing
and other outdoor activities. He currently holds an adjunct position
at Arapahoe Community College teaching accounting and information
technology subjects. Dennis is included on the Institute of Internal
Auditors list of excellent speakers.
Earl Kemper
Earl Kemper has over
29 years experience as a Wealth Advisor, 27 years as a Business and
Advisor Coach, and has sold seven successful businesses. Earl Kemper
applies a holistic view to the process of personal and business
growth by addressing the human dynamics, the social context, in
conjunction with sound strategies and business principles. He
frequently educates business and financial professionals across the

Joanne Koonce-Hamar
Joanne Koonce-Hamar is an account
manager with Audimation Services, Inc., the sole U.S. distributor of
IDEA® - Data Analysis Software and SymSure for IDEA. Joanne brings
more than 20 years of experience in industry management and training
including banking, energy, hospitality and other services to her
current role. She shares her CAATs expertise and implementation
knowledge with internal auditors, compliance professionals, tax and
business analysts, fraud investigators, and others. As the U.S.
manager of SymSure for IDEA, Joanne provides information about the
benefits of using continuous auditing and monitoring solutions to
address risk and compliance issues across the enterprise. She is
frequently called upon by professional and industry groups to
deliver presentations on applications and automation of processes.
Joanne earned a BA from the University of Puget Sound and is an
active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Houston
Chapter.
Charlie Hymer, CPA

Charlie has over 20 years of experience in
accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Charlie came to
Rivet in April 2009. She is responsible for targeted sales campaigns
that educate our future clients on what they should consider in
selecting an XBRL and financial reporting vendor. Thereby, helping
them make the most educated decisions possible.
Before joining Rivet, Charlie spent two
years with FRx Software Corporation, now a division of Microsoft
Business Solutions, establishing the direct sales pre-sales team and
managing relationships with all major ERP solutions.
Evelyn D. Law, CPA
Evelyn Law is a partner in the
public accounting firm of Bondi & Co. LLC in Englewood, Colorado.
She joined the firm in March 2005. Bondi & Co. has specialized in
auditing Colorado governmental entities and nonprofit organizations
since 1976. The firm has never had a Peer Review finding.
Before joining Bondi & Co., Evelyn
worked at the Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank’s Tenth
District for nine years, all in the Internal Auditing Department.
During that time, she was a quality assurance reviewer, a trainer,
and a supervisor with staff in both the Kansas City and Denver
offices.
Prior to the Fed, Evelyn worked
for the Auditor/Controller’s Office of Orange County, California,
for 11 years. She was an accounting supervisor for five years and an
internal audit manager for six years.
Her previous experience also
includes working for local public accounting firms in Kansas and
California for five years. She holds CPA certificates from Colorado,
California (inactive), and Kansas (inactive). She graduated with
honors, earning a BA and BS from Texas Woman’s University in Denton,
Texas.
Victoria J. Marschner, CPA

Victoria is a Certified Public
Accountant, with a Masters of Taxation from University of Denver.
Her areas of experience include individual, small business,
corporate and partnership tax planning and preparation, estate
planning and inheritance tax return preparation, tax research and
opinion, business consulting, tax accounting, corporate and
partnership tax accounting and financial accounting instructor. She
has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience and has working
industry as well as public accounting. Her recent interest is public
speaking with the Gear-Up Seminar circuit. Victoria is also an
instructor for the University of Colorado.
Robin L. Mayhugh, CPA
Robin is the Chief
Operations Officer for SpritBank in Tusla, Oklahoma. Robin has
over 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Her areas of
responsibility have included internal audit, loan review,
compliance, security, operations, credit administration and risk
management. Robin has also performed part-time teaching
instruction in the areas of accounting and internal auditing.
Kevin O'Brien, JD, LLM, CPA
Kevin O’Brien is the
chair of the Business Ethics and Legal Studies Department in the
Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Kevin has
taught and researched topics in professional and business ethics for
twenty-five years. Kevin designed and teaches the required graduate
business course “Ethics for the 21st Century Professional.”
Lizette Pena, CPA
Liz
is an audit manager in Clifton Gunderson’s Rocky Mountain Client
Service Center and has provided accounting and audit services to
companies in a variety of industries. Additionally, she has
experience in providing CFO related services for a variety of
industries.
She has specific
experience for both public and privately held businesses in the

Tony Redlinger, CIA, CISA, CISSP
Tony Redlinger has
been an internal audit practitioner for more than 14 years,
including the last six years as an Audit Project Manager at CoBank
where his responsibilities have included management of the IT audit
function and the internal audit quality program. He has been a
member of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 1996 and served
twice as president of the Heartland-Iowa Chapter and was also active
in the Santa Fe Chapter prior to joining the Denver Chapter in 2004,
where he served on the Board of Governors from 2005-2008 and is the
President-Elect for 2011-2012. Tony has given presentations on
topics such as risk-based auditing, ACL, information security, and
auditing projects to local IIA, IMA, and PMI chapters. He was also
an instructor for the most recent CIA review course offered by the
Denver Chapter.
Tony began his
auditing career in with the AEGON Insurance Group and also worked as
an Audit Project Leader at the Los Alamos National Laboratory prior
to joining CoBank. Before becoming an internal auditor, he worked in
insurance and financial services. Tony received his BBA and MBA from
the University of Iowa and is a Certified Internal Auditor,
Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information
Systems Security Professional.
Jason A. Sibley,

Jason is
an assurance partner in the Denver Assurance Practice at McGladrey &
Pullen. He provides accounting, assurance and consulting services to

Advanced Certitifed QuickBooks ProAdvisor and consults with CPAs,
accountants, bookkeepers and QuickBooks users. She also teaches

George Thomas
George manages a
global audit program for First Data. His prior experience includes
accounting, reporting, forecasting & planning, auditing (IT,
operations and compliance related to retail banking, trust & wealth
management & broker/dealer), risk management, large scale systems
implementations, and accounting process re-engineering. George has
also led M&A analysis and led acquisition integrations for banks up
to $4 billion in assets. He was also on the Information Security
Committee of a large west coast bank.
George served on

Sidny K. Zink, CPA
Sidny
K. Zink, CPA, is an owner of FredrickZink & Associates, PC, and
leads the firm’s audit practice. Sid is the firm’s Quality Control
director with responsibility for the design and maintenance of the
quality control system over FredrickZink & Associates’ audit and
accounting practice. She participates in some capacity in all
attestation engagements (audits, reviews, projections) undertaken by
the firm. This opportunity to read and analyze the financial
statements of many different operations enhances Sid’s ability to
evaluate a business’s financial condition and advise its owners and
managers.
A graduate of the
University of Nebraska, Sid has been a practicing CPA since 1978.

emphasis on the not-for-profit segment as well as the construction
and contracting industries.
For three years,
Sid was Chair of the Not-for-Profit Committee of the Colorado
Society of CPAs. The committee addressed new and controversial
issues facing non-profits, and monitored and advised both public and
private accountants working with them. Sid’s link to this committee
is a valuable and immediate resource for the non-profits she
services.
Recognizing the
growing number or organizations seeking A-133 “Single Audit,” Sid
has met the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements of
the Office of Management and Budget, qualifying her to perform A-133
audits. She is also qualified to perform audits under specialized
HUD and FHA audit guides and has extensive experience with IRS Form
990 for nonprofit organizations.
In May 2009 Sidny
was named Chair-Elect of the Colorado Society of Certified Public
Accountants and will begin her term as Chair in May 2010. As Chair
she will work with CPAs throughout the state, speak for the
profession in legislative and regulatory matters, and represent
Colorado as a Member of Council of the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.
Sid has long been a
member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Colorado Society of
CPAs where she has served as a director and chair of the audit
committee. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and New Mexico.
Sid enjoys participating in Toastmasters, and is an active member of
the business and political community. Sid is a former Durango mayor
and city councilor, past board member of the Home Builders
Association of Southwest Colorado, and is a member of the Colorado
Forum.
A resident of
Durango, Sid enjoys cycling with her husband, both on their tandem
bicycle and on their Goldwing trike.
